Black Nylon Weather Stripping

The black nylon weather stripping used in Hale Pet Doors comes in a metal holder.  It is always used to seal around the flaps of Hale Pet Doors.  If you are ordering a replacement flap it will come as a kit including the appropriate lengths of black nylon weather stripping for the flap size and location you are ordering.  You should NOT order additional weatherstripping on this page unless you are needing additional pieces for another flap or if you are not ordering a replacement flap.  If you need help determining the size of your pet door, please see the sizing tab.

The black nylon weather stripping was also used many years ago to seal the edges of our panel models where they meet the edge of the door frame or sliding door.  We do still have many of these panels in use but the majority of panel and window models would need our gray nylon weather stripping instead.

Please pick whether you need an “overall length” for an older panel model or pieces for your pet door.
