Hale Pet Door began in Phoenix, Arizona. In 1985, Bill Hale, an avid animal lover and owner of Hale Glass, invented the very first 'In Glass' Pet Door, and Hale Pet Door was born. Hale Pet Door has continued to grow and improve over forty years into the worldwide provider of the "Best Pet Door on The Market".

More than just a Pet Door placed In the Glass, Bill opened the door to a new way of thinking about the bond between pets and their families. What started small soon became part of the daily lives of thousands of families around the world.

For over four decades, Hale has grown alongside generations of pets and pet owners. Today, we proudly offer 10 models in a wide range of sizes and colors, always staying true to the same essence: combining durability, safety, and comfort with genuine love for animals.

For many years, Phoenix was home to our engineering and manufacturing, while our sales and administrative teams expanded in Colorado. In 2014, we brought all operations together in Cañon City, Colorado, uniting technology, production, and customer service under one roof. This move allowed us to become more efficient and strengthened our commitment to excellence.

For 40+ years, Hale Pet Door has stood for quality, safety, and care. Now we begin a new chapter that reflects not only what we build but also what we believe in. This rebranding brings more emotion, color, and connection to everything we do.
