Under contract with Greenwood County, the Humane Society of Greenwood’s animal care professionals operate the Greenwood County Animal Shelter, the safety net for any lost, abandoned, or relinquished companion animal in Greenwood County. HSOG staff promote adoptions of shelter animals at the Adoption Center and at off-site adoption events, as well as work strategically with out-of-area rescue groups who adopt animals from the Shelter and re-home in areas outside Greenwood.864-942-8775
