The Humane Society of Jefferson County (HSJC), TN provides services to the citizens of Jefferson County and the cities within the county. In 1978, the first HSJC was organized. Volunteers kept cats and dogs at their homes. Seven years later, the first animal shelter for HSJC was built.865-475-8930
