Sizes for Small Dog Doors – Custom Sizes Available
Unlike many of our competitors, we don’t just offer small, medium, and large sizes of dog doors, because not all “small dogs” are created equal.

What are Dog Kennel Doors and How Do They Work?
Our “small-medium” size is a great fit for most small dogs including Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, Papillons, and Yorkshire Terriers, and slightly larger small dogs like the Toy Fox Terrier and Miniature Pinschers. The “tall small medium” size may be more appropriate for your Pekingese, Pug, Miniature Poodle, and other breeds with longer legs. Depending on the width of your small dog, you may want to consider a medium dog door to accommodate them. We do not recommend the “small” size for any dog breeds (and only the smallest cats).
Pet door size is extremely important. While your four-legged friend might be able to “squeeze through” a dog door that’s a bit small for them, over time this can affect their health and well-being.
