When to choose a wall dog door

A wall install makes sense when no door is a good fit.

Pick the Wall Model when you want pet access in a spot your doors don't reach, or you'd rather not cut into an entry door.

A wall dog door lets you place the opening where it suits the house and the yard, such as a mudroom, laundry room or garage wall, instead of where a door happens to be. It also leaves your entry doors intact. If your door is a better location, the door-mounted dog door may be simpler to install.

Before choosing a spot, check the wall's finished depth, the framing, and any wiring or plumbing inside the wall, and leave room to slide the security cover in and out. The Wall Model installation instructions cover each step. Prefer a pro? Use the dealer locator to find an installer near you.
