Rescue Rewards Group of the Week -November 21, 2011
Gemini Rottweiler and Pitbull Rescue joined Hale Rescue Rewards as our 750th partner on October 15, 2011. They are located in Madison, Minnesota and are our Rescue Rewards group of the week for November 21.
Tell us a little bit about your rescue
We are an independent rescue in S.W. Minnesota working mainly with Rottweilers and Pitbulls, although we will take in other breeds in emergency situations. We have dedicated our lives to helping these wonderful dogs find their perfect home with a family that will love them forever. Each available dog is spayed/neutered, microchipped, Heartworm tested, UTD on shots and temperment evaluated to help ensure a great companion.
Tell us about one of the adoptable dogs currently in your rescue
Sweet Indie came all the way from a Kentucky shelter to Minnesota. He was literally 5 minutes away from euthanasia when one of our volunteers saved him. He then made the journey to MN, meeting lots of great people along the way, in hopes of finding his forever home. Indie is only about 1-2 yrs old. He has a really great , kissable personality and loves attention and belly rubs! He does really great in the car, and is good in his crate. We think he may be housetrained. He seems good with other dogs, and wants to play. Indie walks well on leash and would be a good partner for talking long walks with his people. please consider Indie as your next best friend!
